CERTIFICATE III and DIPLOMA of PERMACULTURE
Accredited Permaculture Training (APT)
These are fully accredited courses run through a local central Victorian Registered Training Organisation. A Certificate III in Permaculture gives you the skills and knowledge to plan, implement and maintain a productive functioning permaculture system. A Diploma of Permaculture builds on these skills and also covers topics such as further design skills, management of permaculture projects and community development. Courses starting Semester 2 2014. For more information on these courses go to our APT page.

CASTLEMAINE PDCs
The Castlemaine Community House (CCH) is offering a Permaculture Design Course (PDC) once a week during term time on Tuesdays in first semester. This format is useful for those local to Castlemaine, or others on the Bendigo-Melbourne train line, and the course runs during school hours with a break for school holidays, allowing parents of school-age children to attend with minimal disruption to family life. One day per week allows time for information to ‘sink in’ and for extra reading and research between the sessions. Bookings for this PDC can be made on 5472 4842.

RESIDENTIAL PDC AT ASHRAM
A ten day residential PDC held at a Central Victorian Ashram - combine permaculture with yoga for a life-changing experience! Details at holmgren.com.au/events/10-day-residential-pdc-rocklyn

BALLARAT PERMACULTURE GUILD in conjunction with CRESWICK NEIGHBOURHOOD CENTRE
are offering a 1 day per week PDC on Fridays in Semester 1 2014. Details at www.ballaratpermacultureguild.org/education

We also tailor permaculture, food growing and related courses and workshops to suit groups:

Whether you belong to a gardening or Transition Towns group, a community house or garden, or some other organisation we can arrange a course to suit your needs for instance...

'INTRODUCTION TO PERMACULTURE' WORKSHOPS
Our Introduction to Permaculture workshops have proved a very popular format for introducing permaculture concepts. Dependent on your group's needs these can be run over two, three or four days, in a format that suits you.

'FOOD GROWING WITH PERMACULTURE' WORKSHOPS
A more gardening-focused version of the 'Introduction to Permaculture' course for those who love getting their hands into the soil.

PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSES (PDC)
The traditional format for leaning about permaculture, the PDC covers a very wide range of topics ensuring the participants are permaculture literate. The minimum hours for this course is 72 but we often run longer versions of the PDC to allow more time for feildtrips, practical activities or for areas of special interest in the group.
