Cydonia
Permaculture
is registered provide all five levels of APT training, however courses
will
only run according to demand in each year. Please contact us with your
expressions of interest so we know where this demand lies. We expect to
be running Certificate III and Diploma courses in 2009 and over the
summer of 08/09. We will also be able to run Certificate I programmes
for community groups or schools if requested.
Certificate
I in Permaculture is a basic course useful for
group training for those working on
community or school garden
projects, and for those doing jobs market activities such as Work for
the
Dole. It is also a suitable course for school students. Some
groups have found that a Certificate I is a useful and economical
follow-on from an
Introduction to Permaculture short-course.We can tailor the programme to suit your workplace or
school.
Certificate
III in Permaculture is a
very hands-on certificate giving participants the skills and knowledge
to create productive, functioning permaculture systems. There are two
ways to complete the Certificate III with Cydonia Permaculture.
Firstly, as a follow-on from a PDC - the PDC provides much of the
theoretical knowledge that can then be built upon with practical
projects and activities. For more about this course format please see
our separate Certificate IIIpage. The other way is
from scratch, without the PDC. The latter option might be useful for
groups wanting Accredited Training over a period of time in a
particular locality.
Diploma
of Permaculture is a course involving not only the design,
creation and maintenance of permaculture
systems but also skills in management
and research. This course is still in the planning stages for 2009 so
please contact us for details and expressions of interest.
